“Oscar” is the most prestigious award in the US cinema and the annual prize with many nominations. The 90th Academy Awards ceremony in 2018 began on 5th of March. Announcement of the winners of the Oscar 2018 Award was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The date of the ceremony this year was postponed from February to March due to the coincidence with the  Winter Olympics 2018, which took place in February in Korea.

Every year the world knows about new nominees and winners. The 2018 Oscar winners have been announced! The fantastic melodrama “Shape of Water” became the best film. And her director Guillermo del Toro won another “Oscars” – for directing. In general, the film won four awards – two more statuettes of the cinema academies were awarded for design and music. Our team also favored this film, from all nominees, so we really gladly of such decision. This film is a story about janitor Elisa Esposito, who works at a classified government laboratory that tests new technology to help defeat the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Isolated and lonely, the mute Elisa finds her life changing forever when she uncovers the truth about the facility’s most unusual and top-secret project. This story is in hearts of all viewers and film critics.

But if your favourite movie doesn’t get the cute statuette you don’t need to be disappointed, because it doesn’t affect on your preference and attitude to the film at all. Everyone chooses a movie that likes for one reason or another. Someone  watches only comedies, women prefer melodrama, and men are more prone to action films and horror films.
