Solo: A Star Wars Story
According to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, “Han Solo” is a film about the shootings, and the robberies. This could be guessed already by the first trailer, in which Han first meets with someone to shoot, and then, together with Chewbacca, tries to get on board a vehicle called Conway to steal what is unknown.
But for the director Ron Howard’s “Solo” this is a story about the friendship of Han and Chewbacca. “For me, their relationship has always been a favorite part of the saga,” admits Howard. “Only Han understands what Chew says, and I see great potential for comic scenes.”
“In” Solo” Han is not yet such an adult and not so cynical, he lacks experience, but he is already cautiously looking at the world around him. He just will earn the respect of others, even if it is surrounded by the dregs of society,” says Kathleen Kennedy.
“I think the main difference between my Han is that in this film he is still an idealist,” adds Alden Ehrenraik. “He has dreams that will change before our eyes under the influence of a brutal reality.”
“Solo” will tell you how Han met Chew and Lando Calrissian. But besides this our hero will get acquainted with the mysterious Qi’ra, droid L3-37, as well as professional scoundrels Tobias Beckett, Val and Dryden Vos.
Qi’ra performed by Emilia Clark is a fatal woman. She grew up in the streets, changed many faces, and she was always guided by the desire to survive. “Do not let her appearance deceive you,” Clarke warns.
Droid L3-37 has done by itself. She gathered herself from the most different parts. L3-37 is unique and different and constantly improving itself.
Woody Harrelson plays Tobias Beckett known rogue, who wants to confirm its credibility and turn the crime of the century. But such a venture is impossible alone, so Beckett begins to pick up the team. Tobias contracts to Han’s cause and becomes a tutor for the young Corellian.
“Beckett is a powerful criminal, but prefers to act on his own,” says Ron Howard. “He more than anyone else influences the formation of Han Solo.” After becoming acquainted with him Corellian understands that in such dark times, it needs its own code of ethics. ”
British actress Tandy Newton plays Val, an old acquaintance and partner of Beckett. At first, she does not have a very high opinion of Hana Solo, but over time their relationship takes an interesting turn.
